Medical Mission Hall of Fame Foundation

Dr. Geelhoed supports the work of the Medical Mission Hall of Fame Foundation (MMHOFF). Based at the University of Toledo, the MMHOFF was created to honor individuals and organizations that have made significant and substantial contributions to advancing the medical well being of people throughout the world.

We welcome donations of medical supplies, laboratory equipment, etc. Please list what you would like to donate on the Mission to Heal Research Accelerator. We will then contact you.

Operation Giving Back

Dr. Geelhoed also supports Operation Giving Back (OGB), the volunteerism program of the American College of Surgeons. OGB maintains a resource center where surgical professionals and trainees can find information on volunteer opportunities in the United States and around the world. In collaborations with academic institutions, corporations, foundations, government and non-profit entities, OGB aims not only to connect medical professionals to volunteer opportunities but also to create sustainable programs of medical education and service. Its Web site includes trip reports from volunteers who have completed medical missions and toolkits for those preparing for missions.
